Premier Trims Double Z profile 2.7m (Specialised Finish)

The Premier Trims range of Double Z Profiles are available in 2.7m lengths with a series of specialised finishes. Made by Stairrods UK Ltd., one of the world’s leading manufacturers of flooring profiles and trims, you know quality is guaranteed. These profiles are perfect for joining carpet to carpet, as well as a range of hard floor coverings. 

The double trim features a 30mm top plate and removable side for use between carpet and hard floor. The base of the Premier Trims Double Z Profile is made of aluminium.

Application

• Cut to desired length with a sharp hack-saw
• The profile should be stuck down with a propriety adhesive.
• Premier Trims Z Profiles can be used both for carpet-to-carpet fittings, as well as carpet-to-floor fittings
• Use a Stanley knife to make a small notch at the end of the peel line
• Score along the line a couple of times
• Use a pair of pliers to peel the excess side away by turning anti-clockwise
• If your underlay is less than 6mm, you can fit your Z Profile directly to the floor
• If thicker underlay is used, you can use wedges or special Dimstrips to raise the base up to the level of the carpet, thereby making the transition as smooth as possible.

Maintenance Tips

• You can use lemon wipes to remove any light tarnishing
• For more challenging stains, you should use a propriety metal polish – once used, you should allow the profile finish to age again naturally
• Always follow the instructions for any cleaning materials or polish
